All our doors are made to the
highest standards. The Oak
Chateau series is a full
3/4" Red Oak Rotary cut
veneer on inside and out side
of the door, over a MDF
(Medium Density Fiber-core)
center. This core is the most
stable material for changing
humidity environments.
All
other doors are a 5 piece
door. The
Lancaster and Berkshire series
(available in Oak, Maple and
Pine only) have a veneer core
5mm. plywood panel. Boston and
Harvard Manor series have a
solid wood (not a veneer)
5/8" raised panel.
(see picture to right).

Our Stile and Rail
construction is milled, not
mitered, to give the strongest
glue joints. This holds the
door together for years
without the door
sagging. The picture
above represents all series of
our doors except Lancaster.
Lancaster cabinet doors and
drawer fronts are constructed
using dado joints. This style
is sometimes called
"Shaker Style".
This is the joint for our
Lancaster styles.
This is the joint for all
other styles including:
Berkshire, Boston, and Harvard
doors.

The Edge
Profiles are a top view,
looking at the door the
3/4" thick top
edge.
